Funnel data is also valuable for production and manufacturing, who rely on expected sales to determine how much to build or buy. The president of one of my clients reinforced this to me. He told us the better his salespeople could predict what was coming, the better his company would know how much to build. This means it could prevent having out of stock situations or back orders or the other problem of having too much inventory.
